This class offers the best of both worlds by working to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance through low impact movement and stretching the whole body to enhance flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Both the cardio and yoga can be done from a seated or standing position. This class is taught by certified instructor Dr. Canary Hogan.

Zumba

Perfect For - everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. How It Works - We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Benefits - A total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. 

12 Minute Challenge

Thursdays, 9:00am - 10:00am
Fee:  $3 per class

This class is designed to strengthen the core, increase muscular endurance, flexibility, range of motion and balance. Take the 12 minute challenge which includes cardio, weights, ball, resistance band and balance. Participants will need to bring a resistance band with handles and weights to class.  This class is taught by certified instructor Dr. Canary Hogan. Class will be held in the Delmas Long Community Center Fitness Room.


Hula Hoop Fitness


Mondays, 6:45pm-7:45pm
Fee:  $20 for the session (4 classes)


Join Hula Hoop Fitness for a fun, energetic fitness class for all levels. Hula hooping is a full body workout: cardio, core strength, and flexibility.  The small class size will allow for personalized instruction on how to keep your hula hoop up and moving.  Increase your flexibility, coordination, and endurance weekly.  Hoops are provided.  Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

Beginners  Register Here
Join instructor Pamela DiMaria in this Beginner Level 1 Salsa class.  Have fun learning basic steps, rhythm, right turn, and cross body lead combos.  Assistance is provided with rhythm, timing, lead, and follow pointers.  Class will last one hour plus an additional 25 minutes of practica (supervised practice time).

Partners are not required.  Please bring socks.  For class information, please contact Pamela.

Advanced Beginners     Register Here
Join instructor Pamela DiMaria in this Advanced Beginner and Improver Salsa class.  Have fun learning interesting new moves and turn patterns for Salsa.  Prerequisite: know basic rhythm, right and left turns, and cross body lead inside turn.  Class will last one hour plus an additional 15 minutes of practica (supervised practice time).
